Ayurveda1 is the oldest system of medicine which dates back to about 5000 years B.C, ‘Ayurveda’ is a Sanskrit word which is a combination of ‘Ayur’ meaning Age and ‘Veda’ meaning Knowledge, which means Knowledge of life or Science of living.
Acharya Charak ‘Father of Medicine’ is the author of Charaka Samhita, which is considered as an encyclopedia of Ayurveda. Acharya Charaka describes more than 600 drugs of animal, plant, metal and mineral origin, along with formulas for medicines and instructions for making them.
Acharya Sushrut known as the ‘Father of Surgery’ & author of Sushrut Samhita, a Sanskrit text on surgery. The fact that Rishi Sushrut performed surgeries nearly two centuries before Hippocrates is hard for most to realize and appreciate. For successful surgery Acharya Sushrut induced anesthesia using intoxicants such as wine and henbane (Cannabis indica). Sushruta Samhita describes over 120 surgical instruments, 300 surgical procedures and classifies human surgery in 8 categories.
Ayurveda is the only system of medicine that has developed the art of converting metals (even heavy metals) like mercury, gold, silver, iron, copper, tin, lead, zinc etc and minerals (coral, seashells etc) into medicinal use by Shodhana (Purification). Rasa Shastra describes the process by which various metals and minerals are purified and termed as Bhasma (Sanskrit word for Ash) to be used alone or in combination with herbs (herbo-mineral) to treat various illnesses.
With the advent of Penicillin in nineteen forties and the development of synthetic Penicillin in late fifties, the era of modern synthetic antibiotics started and now after only 60 years of use, is almost coming to an end. With indiscriminate use of antibiotics and non development of new higher analogs, multidrug resistant pathogens, collectively called Superbugs are serious threat to humanity. According to World Health Organization report released April 30, 2014 states, "This serious threat is no longer a prediction for the future, it is happening right now in every region of the world and has the potential to affect anyone, of any age, in any country.
With scientific advancement, Hassnar Health & Personal Care with motto “In service of humanity through Ayurveda”, are constantly upgrading manufacturing methods to produce the most potent and effective herbal health & personal care products. Unlike majority Ayurvedic manufacturers, who use raw herb powder in their formulations, we at Hassnar’s use vacuumised /spray dried concentrated herbal extracts in all formulations.
Raw - Plant parts or the entire plants are dried and then blended.
(Method used by majority of manufacturers)
Extracts - The active components of the plant parts or entire plant are identified, removed and condensed into herbal extracts. A herbal extract at a 10:1 concentration ratio means 10 kilograms of the raw plant yields 1 kilogram of the concentrate. For example, 18 kilograms of the root of Vidari (Pueraria Tuberosa) is used to produce 1 kilogram of Vidari extract (18:1). The cost for this extract is more than 18 times than that of raw Vidari herb. At the same time, the concentration of active constituents is much higher in the Vidari extract, hence more potent is its effect on the body.
Use of Standardize concentrated herbal extracts ensures repetitive quality, efficacy and more dosage in capsule. For example our KAMTONE Capsule contains maximum amount of Ingredients, among all similar sex and fertility enhancement products available in India.
